Tint

Window Tinting in Omaha

A large variety of films and shades for cars and trucks, fitted with superior quality film that will not peel or fade.

Chapter 01

Choosing film and shade for a Nebraska summer

Shade is the number everyone asks about and the least useful one on its own. A dark film that only blocks visible light still lets the heat through. What actually cools a cabin is infrared rejection, and that is a property of the film construction rather than how dark it looks.

We carry a large variety of films and shades so the choice can be made on how you use the vehicle. A work truck that sits in the sun all day and a family car that needs clear rear visibility at night are not the same brief.

What 60 percent cooler actually means in the cabin

Good film keeps a car's interior up to 60 percent cooler. In practice that is the difference between a steering wheel you can hold at 3pm in July and one you cannot, and an air conditioner that stops fighting the glass the whole drive.

The same film holds your interior color from fading, blocks harmful UV rays, and keeps the glass from turning into loose shards if it is ever struck. That last one is the part nobody thinks about until it matters: the film holds broken glass together rather than letting it come at you.

Chapter 03

Film that will not peel or purple

The reason cheap tint has a bad reputation is dye. Dyed film fades, turns purple, and eventually lifts at the edges and bubbles across the middle. Once it goes, it has to be stripped before anything new can go on.

We fit superior quality film that will not peel or fade, and we fit it properly: glass cleaned down, film cut to the actual curve of the window, edges tucked rather than trimmed short. Done that way it stays looking like glass, not like a sticker.

High-Quality Tinting

The films we fit are chosen to do five things at once, and it is worth being specific about what they are.

Keep your car's interior up to 60% cooler on a July afternoon.

Reduce interior fading, so a dashboard and seats hold their color instead of going grey and pink.

Block harmful UV rays, which is the same radiation doing that fading and the reason drivers get more sun damage on one arm than the other.

Prevent your windows from shattering into the cabin, because the film holds the glass together when it is struck.

Protect you from flying shards of glass in the moment that matters, which is the benefit nobody buys tint for and everybody wants when they need it.
