Most glass shops do glass. The sign on our building lists windshields, window tint, side and back glass, chip repair, window motor and regulator replacement, and remote start, alarm and keyless entry, and all of it happens inside the same bay.

That matters more than it sounds. A modern windshield job is rarely just glass any more. The camera behind it has to be calibrated, the trim has to seal, and if the car is in for tint or film at the same time it can all be done in one visit rather than three appointments at three businesses.

It goes past glass, too. The same bay fits remote starters, alarm systems and Keyless Entry, which is why the sign out front runs as long as it does.

What twenty years actually buys you.

Mostly it buys judgment about what not to do. Knowing when a chip is still worth repairing and when it has gone too far. Knowing which vehicles fight aftermarket glass and need an OEM part ordered instead. Knowing that a window that binds will destroy a new regulator the same way it destroyed the old one unless the track is sorted first.

We would rather tell you a repair will not hold than sell you one that does not. That is also why a chip repair that later fails at the same point comes off the price of your replacement windshield.

The insurance side

We work directly with most insurance providers, so the claim becomes our paperwork. Glass claims often sit differently from collision claims on a policy, and some window motor and paint protection film work is covered too, so it is always worth asking before you assume it comes out of your pocket.
