Headlight & Taillight Tinting

Professional headlight and taillight tinting by skilled technicians, fitted as film over the lens.

Chapter 01

Shade, output and staying road legal

Tinting a lens always costs you some light output, and how much depends entirely on the shade. A light smoke changes the look of a car with very little effect on what the beam does at night. A heavy shade looks dramatic in a parking lot and is a different proposition on an unlit county road.

Nebraska treats lighting equipment separately from window tint, and the rules are about what your lamps actually emit. We will talk through where your vehicle sits before anything goes on the car.

Film that follows a curved lens

Modern headlight lenses are compound curves, not flat panels. Film has to be heat formed to that shape or it will finger and lift at the corners within weeks.

Our technicians shape the film to the lens, work the edges down, and wrap rather than trim short so there is no cut line sitting on the visible face.

Chapter 03

Why a wrapped lens beats a sprayed one

Spray tint is paint. It is permanent, it is difficult to remove without damaging the lens underneath, and it goes patchy as it ages because the coat thickness is never even across a curve.

Film is reversible. If you sell the car, change your mind, or need the original output back, it comes off and the lens underneath is untouched. That reversibility is the whole argument.

Professional Tinting Services

This is the same discipline as window tint applied to a smaller, more curved and more safety-critical piece of the car, so it is done by the same skilled technicians rather than treated as an accessory job.

We will talk through shade against night visibility before anything goes on the lens, and we fit film rather than spray so the decision stays reversible.
